In case you decide to make a reservation with Ampuria Travel, we advise you to read the following information. You will find here how we work upon your arrival, during your stay, at your departure and the procedures of payment and cancelling your holiday.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Arrival
Upon arrival we will welcome you in your holiday
home with some cool refreshments in your refrigerator. In case bedlinnen was
reserved, the beds will already been made. After arranging the payment (see Payment and
Cancellation below), we will give you a tour of the house. We answer all the
questions you might have at that moment. We try to keep the arrival as short as
possible, so you can quickly start enjoying your holiday.
Highseason:
The arrival date is always on Friday or Saturday (depending on the house). You are welcome in your house
between 16.30 and 20.30. Of course it is possible you arrive earlier. In this
case we will do our best to make the property ready earlier. But also if
you arrive late, we will await you.
In case you arrive with arranged transportation (plane or train), we ask you to
tell us your time schedule as soon as possible, so we can try to get the house
ready around that time.
If you will come by own transportation, of course you never know what time you
will arrive. Please keep
us updated about your travel progress through our phone number.
Low and middle season:
In these seasons we can arrange flexible arrival dates and times. Please tell us
your wishes and we will see what we can do for you.
Stay
If you have any questions during your stay, during the day you can
always reach us by telephone. We will do our best to give you an answer as quick
as possible.
In case you have rented a house with pool or garden, someone will stop by once or twice a
week to maintain the pool or garden.
Departure
When you are ready to leave, we can understand you would like to depart
as soon as possible, so we will do everything we can to make your departure as
easy and quickly as possible.
At the agreed time we will come by to check the property with you. If everything
is OK, you will receive your deposit back and you give us the keys. Please be
aware, with some houses you will receive the deposit 2 weeks after your
departure through a bank transfer.(houses with a jacuzzi, for example) In case
of damage, even doubt, we will hold onto the deposit and after the damaged or
missing property has been replaced, we wil transfer you the deposit that is left.
For the departure you will receive a "on the road-package".
Highseason:
Your holiday ends on Friday or Saturday (depending on the house). We will make an appointment with you
between 07.00 and 09.30.
After we have settled everything you need to leave the property. In case you
wish to enjoy another day in Ampuriabrava, we can guard your luggage and agree
on a different departure time.
Low and middle season:
Since we can be flexible in these seasons, we will make an appointment about
your departure during your stay.
PAYMENT AND CANCELATION
Payment
If you have decided to rent one of our lovely properties, we will make a
renting agreement. However, the reservation will be final after we have received
the down payment.
The payment procedure is as
follows:
1. Immediately after receiving the reservation confirmation we ask you to fill
out missing information and sign the document and the rental conditions and return this by fax. Also you need to make a
down payment of 50% of the total amount, specified on the confirmation. You will find the account
number on
your reservation confirmation.
2. The rest amount will have to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. The deposit has
to be paid upon arrival in cash.
In case you want one of our services during your stay, you will pay this at that moment..
Cancellation
If you suddenly have to cancel your holiday, we offer the following
possibilities:
1. You can let someone else take over your holiday. This person needs to pay the
same amount, plus 15 € administration fees.
2. You can change your holiday to another date.
- Upontil 6 weeks before your arrival, we will keep the down payment which will
be used for the new reservation.
- Will you change your date within 6 weeks before arrival, we will keep the down
payment. For the new reservation you need to make a new down payment.
In both cases we charge you 15 € administration fees.
3. You can cancel your entire holiday.
- Until 8 weeks before your arrival, we charge 150 € fee.
If you have made a down payment, we will transfer this back to you as soon as
possible.
- Between 8 and 6 weeks before arrival , the down payment will not be
returned.
- Within 6 weeks before arrival the entire amount will not be returned.
